Tell you, it is really crazy that time, i still remember at that time everything is ready to go, and my passport is due, and the fun part is i cannot renew my passport because my crappy ID card (with microchip) is damaged.. was running around town just to get a new Id and and new passport.
The trip was fun, was in Nepal for 12 days i think, stayed at Tsem Ladrang up in the hills with Su Ming and David... the trip there is nice, but I felt really really pressured during this whole trip, partly because it was sponsored and i dont like the feeling but at the same time also I'm really thankful to Rinpoche for allowing me to go.. it was a jumble up kinda feeling at that time...
And that feeling put me in a dilema for quite some time, most people couldnt understand, and it make it even harder to make decisions at that time. It was partly of the reason I did dharma work full time for half year, well actually it was quite fun working with a few of them (Lets not go into this at the moment)
Spent most of the time in Boudha helping out K.L and David brought me around to Paping, Patan, Swayambu and a few more mystical places when we are free..
What's the thing i missed most while i am in Nepal.. ??
Hmmm .. Electricity ? there is a massive load shading daily, and the colder the temperature, the duration of load shading is longer....
I think i miss my water heater as well, the water heater there is the old fashion ones, either the water is too hot, or too cold, it is very hard to get the right temperature
What things i miss about Nepal.. ??
Raj Kumar and Family.. they were so nice, i love Mrs Raj Kumar's cooking, not to mention that i am already half his son after he did the dharshan thing on me (it was Nepali Daharsai {New Year} when we arrive)... I still remember i was talking to David and when he suddenly tell me that we are half his son after the blessing, the first word that came out of my mouth is.. SH*T ! i missed the chance with his 2 lovely daughters.. (of course i was just joking)
Actually i kinda missed Su Ming's cooking, it was not one of the best meal i ate, but the soup really kept me really warm during those cold nights...
What I love about Nepal?
The Statues and the silver carvings!!
What I hate about Nepal?
The NEW ROAD !!!!! The name of the road is totally different with what you see!
What is the most memorable time in Nepal?
I was sitting in Kechara Lounge looking at monks doing prostration to the Stuppa from the window when the sun is high up or when it drizzles... they never stop unless the rain gets bigger and bigger.
Favourite food in Nepal?
Raj Kumar's Wife's dinner... i ate 4 plate of rice
Favourite song while in Nepal?
